Wilderness Kenya Regional Travel Manager
Fran joined the Wilderness family in November 2022, with a varied travel background spanning two decades in East Africa. In her new role, Fran will grow the Wilderness Kenya Travel Shop, with a key focus on ground handling and reservations.
Fran was born in Nakuru, a city located in Kenya’s Rift Valley. She grew up near the bird sanctuary of Lake Nakuru National Park. Surrounded by nature from a young age made Fran realise the importance of conserving our wild places alongside human-wildlife coexistence.
Fran completed her schooling in Nakuru, before graduating with a Master of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Kenya Methodist University.
Before joining Wilderness, Fran was the Head of Safari Operations for Asilia Africa, where she worked for seven years. Here she was responsible for travel co-ordination and guest experience management.
Fran’s prior roles have included Guest Operations for Cheli & Peacock Safaris, and Group Travel at Pollman’s Tours & Safaris.
Outside of work, Fran’s interests include singing, volunteering at children’s homes, mountain climbing and farming.
