Iain remembers his first incredible safari in Kenya clearly – a huge male lion walking past their vehicle within touching distance, cheetah hunting on the Masai Mara plains, huge bull elephants approaching them, and meeting the Maasai tribesmen to learn about their culture.

James spent more than a year travelling the continent, culminating in a six-month solo drive through Southern Africa. He’ll never tire of introducing people to Africa, particularly Zambia, with its awe-inspiring Victoria Falls and breathtaking game viewing.

Born and raised in the Netherlands, Jody has lived in South Africa, Canada and very briefly Italy. Her favourite destination is South Africa, which she describes as the most beautiful and diverse country, with brilliant food and wines, and a fulfilling safari on your doorstep

Tor’s love affair with Africa began over 20 years ago with a six-month adventure travelling from Kenya’s Great Rift Valley to the heart of South Africa’s Drakensberg Mountains. She covered the continent in buses, sharing seats with chickens, babies and even a town mayor.
