Building on our proprietary risk and incident management system, known as ‘Wilderness24’, and leveraging our experience as pioneers in remote ecotourism, Wilderness has welcomed the deployment of permanent medics into our concessions in Botswana.
“The health and safety of both our staff and guests is of great importance to us. When it matters most, we are ready with a plan, and our very own incident management system, Wilderness24, backed by Park.Doctor, is literally on hand 24/7/365; ensuring anything requiring attention is well planned for, and seamlessly taken care of. Guests can sit back and relax, knowing that they can enjoy the wilderness with complete peace of mind”, noted Malora, Group Risk and Well-being Manager.
Five emergency medical technicians have been sourced and employed through local Botswana medical company, Rescue One. Rescue One has a collaborative agreement in place with Park.Doctor to ensure that this added support service is carefully integrated into our existing Wilderness24 system and service excellence standards.
As pioneers of conservation and hospitality, this new service to both staff and guests elevates the company’s commitment to crafting memorable and safe, life-changing journeys.
