“Here are a couple of my creations. I love to paint and draw in my spare time. I also love designing original puzzles which celebrate our wildlife”.

Mary-Anne van der Byl – Brand, Design & Integrated Report, Wilderness Safaris SA

A rare wonder to behold in Akagera National Park, Rwanda.

Luke Abbot – Senior Guide and Guide Trainer, Magashi.

“I am an artist first and foremost, but life and work got in the way over the past few years. I am now making a deliberate and conscious effort to take some time out each day to do art again, as this brings me so much joy. My hare painting (watercolour paints on pastel paper) is a work in progress, but that’s ok. Why a scrub hare? I think they are smart, wily creatures, often represented in African mythology- and I also enjoyed painting all the colours in its fur”.

Malora Keevey – Wilderness Safaris Group Risk Manager

This is Me

“I started with mosaics a few years ago, before venturing into other art mediums. I explored the possibilities of fabric and upcycled CDs, among other things, as well as painting very abstract images. My favourite medium to use is fabric, I create trays, canvas artworks and coasters to add a little colour to people’s homes. Follow my works on Social Media @ Eclectic Spaza.

Malebakeng Ramoneheledi – Sales Coordinator, Wilderness Safaris SA

“Artwork I have created over the years, they are all oil paintings except for the portrait of the Old Lady, which is charcoal”

Jadien Kruger – Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Wilderness Safaris SA
