Natasha joined the Wilderness family in 2023. She is excited for this new chapter, where she will be responsible for supporting the Johannesburg office. Passionate about people and maintaining operational standards, Natasha looks forward to learning more about the industry and working with the team.
Natasha grew up in Kliptown, Johannesburg where her grandparents looked after her and her sibling, along with their 10 cousins. Her childhood was filled with many priceless memories. Growing up in a large family and surrounded by a close-knit community taught Natasha how to interact with diverse cultures and personalities.
Natasha was introduced to the wonders of travel from an early age through her grandfather, who supported the family by working as a driver for TAP Air Portugal. In his job he was fortunate to receive trips to Portugal, and in 2003, Natasha had the wonderful opportunity to visit the country with her grandfather – it was the trip of a lifetime for her.
After high school Natasha completed a computer course at Cornerstone HR Management to prepare herself for her working career.
In 2005 she embarked on her career as Office Administrative Assistant for Majestic Printers and Stationers. She worked for the company until 2012, progressing to the role of Debtors and Creditors Clerk. From there Natasha furthered her experience with administration roles for companies, including the Steel Engineering Industry Federation of South Africa, Azola Human Capital, and Hospitality Professionals SA.
Whilst working, Natasha obtained two further qualifications – Project Management NQF L4 in 2016 and Emotional Intelligence NQF L4 in 2021.
Natasha is excited to join the Wilderness family, saying “I feel privileged to join Wilderness where you can truly make a positive impact. Wilderness is definitely an exciting new career path for me as I have never worked in travel before, but look forward to learning and growing in this exciting industry”.
