OM System Experience no longer available in our camps

In 2022, Olympus shifted its business strategy, changing focus from camera equipment to medical equipment. Their camera division was acquired by and rebranded as OM System.

Coinciding with our rebrand last year, it came to our attention that a branded photographic supplier partnership is less important to our guests than Wilderness providing valuable guidance on photographic equipment and assisting with image capture, access to photographic specialists, and advising on Adobe Lightroom and other editing platforms.

As a result, the OM System Camera Journey experience and binoculars are no longer available in our camps and photo hubs. Please do not offer guests this experience. With that said, plans are underway to ensure that our guides will continue to have access to binoculars and select camera equipment.

The process to return all the camera equipment to OM System has begun. We will be in touch with any further updates.
