Patrick Tsvanhu

Wilderness Air Zambezi Maintenance Co-ordinator

Patrick Tsvanhu has been a part of the aviation industry for over 20 years. His vast knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance and procurement led to his appointment as Wilderness Air Zambezi Maintenance Co-ordinator in 2015.

Patrick Tsvanhu was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe. His father was an aircraft engineer and inspired Patrick’s interest in the aviation industry from a young age, when he would accompany his father to work at Charles Prince Airport over weekends.

Patrick began his career in 1999 with Valair Private Jets, also based at Charles Prince Airport. Over the next few years his career progressed while working for companies including Sky Relief, Alliance Aviation and Central Air Transport Services. In 2009 Patrick moved to Botswana, where he was employed by Northern Air Maintenance as Procurement and Stores Manager.

Joining Northern Air Maintenance was not only a successful career move, but an emotional one too, with Patrick describing his Botswana experience as “Something exceptional, where I got to work at the same organisation as the man who introduced me to aviation – my lifetime mentor, my father”.

After five years at Northern Air Maintenance in Botswana, Patrick moved back to Zimbabwe where he joined Wilderness Air Zambezi as their Maintenance Co-ordinator. “I am inspired and motivated by the faith and trust the organisation has placed in me”, concludes Patrick.
