Wilderness Mombo General Manager

Tshupo joined the Wilderness family in 2019 and has never looked back. Passionate about delivering the ultimate guest experience on the continent, he enjoys working alongside his team to welcome guests to Africa’s iconic wilderness.

Known as BB, which is short for ‘BoyBoy’, Tshupo grew up in Francistown. He studied at Cambridge International College where he obtained his diploma in Hospitality and Business Management. His career began with Sanctuary Retreats where he was General Manager of a camp.

Tshupo joined Wilderness in mid-2019 as Relief Manager for the camps in the Linyanti area before being promoted to manage Wilderness King’s Pool. A few months later he took on the role of General Manager at our flagship camp, Wilderness Mombo.

Highly motivated, Tshupo is proud of the interesting journey that he’s been on to achieve his goals and grow within Wilderness. Reflecting on his current role, he had this to say, “My ultimate objective is for Mombo to be the best camp in all of Africa, and I believe this can be achieved through strong team leadership and a focus on Operations”.

Tshupo enjoys working for Wilderness because it allows so many opportunities for growth and development – both personal and professional. In his down time, Tshupo enjoys studying birds, listening to music and watching soccer.
