Heritage Day was a buzz of action and fun across all of our regions. We took time to connect, engage and learn about one another’s cultures and celebrate our people – the heart and soul of Wilderness! From dancing and food to markets and vibrant attire, it was wonderful to be together again.
Bongani Baloyi, Wilderness Group Culture Co-ordinator had this to say: “With over 64 different ethnic groups within our cultural landscapes, it is vital to embrace, respect and celebrate our unique cultures and diversity, and our Wilderness Heritage Day is one of the many ways in which we aim to achieve peace, tolerance and harmony”.
